Payment Types
We accept payment using all major credit cards and by direct deposit. Payments must be received in full prior to the check-in date or access may not be provided. All transactions are processed in Australian dollars AUD.
Credit Card Surcharges
When making payment using a credit card/debit card, a surcharge on the total rental amount applies:
- Visa or Master Card 1.75%
Refund and Cancellation Policy
When cancelling your booking completely, cancellation fees are charged in accordance with the following:
Cancellation Rates & Periods:
- Over 30 days before arrival date – 75% refund
- 15 -30 days before arrival date – 50% refund
- 0 -14 days before arrival date – no refund
Booking Amendments and Extensions
We appreciate that things can get in the way and ruin your plans. If you would prefer to move your dates, rather than cancel, please get in touch with us at least 14 days prior to your arrival and we will do all we can to assist. If you seek to amend your reservation within 14 days we reserve the right to refuse the request.
Security Deposit
A security deposit is mandatory for all bookings and is fully refundable after check out if the property is left in a reasonably clean and fair condition.
Key Collection
The entry to the property is managed via a digital lock. Your entry code will be provided shortly prior check-in time. Keys to the rear doors will be available upon entry to Le Beach Shack.
Arrival/Departure
Check-in time is 2pm and check-out time is 10am unless alternative arrangements have been made. We will do all we can to accomodate eary checkin and late checkouts, but this will be subject to other bookings and cleaning requirements.
Guest Responsibilities
– It is the responsibility of every guest to read and abide by these terms and conditions.
– It is the responsibility of all guests to report any issue with the property to Le Beach Shack immediately. This includes any disturbance, damage, loss or any criminal matter relating to the property.
– Apartments are to be used only for accommodation. Parties or commercial use is strictly prohibited.
– All damages and breakages are payable.
– The number of tenants must not exceed the maximum number allowed and listed on your booking confirmation. If a property is reported to be overloaded, the tenants will be asked to vacate, with no refund made.
– All apartments are privately owned, please respect this and do not move furniture around.
– Guests should show respect and care for the property and ensure doors and windows are locked when vacated. Guests will be liable for any loss as a result of guest negligence.
– Guests are expected to keep the property at an acceptable level of cleanliness. Any unacceptable damage resulting from poor cleanliness will be charged to the guest. If cleaners are required to make additional charges, for example but not limited to carpet cleaning, guests will become liable for these charges.
– Please consider other tenants and the neighbourhood at all times. Remember that your accommodation is in a residential area. Please keep your noise level or any disturbance to a minimum.
– Pets are not permitted a Le Beach Shack. Please contact us for any special request.
– Le Beach Shack is a non-smoking environment. Smoking outside is permissible but please respect our property and its location by appropriatly disposing of all waste.Smoking inside Le Beach Shack will not be accepted and will result in a non return of the security deposit.
Damages and Breakages
Things break, we get that. But any deliberate or negligent breakage or damage, as determined at our sole discretion will be paid for from the security deposit, and if need be pursued legally. In the event of unacceptable damage during your stay we will retain your security deposit until replacement or repair and provide you with an invoice for same from the supplier. Any balance will then be returned. Should the security deposit not cover the cost of replacement or repair then we may pursue your for the balance and you agree that the email address provided at booking is acceptable for the service of any legal documents.
Phone and Internet Access
We provide internet at Le Beach Shack for your benefit. Any misuse or illegal activity will be reported.
Security Cameras
Le Beach Shack makes use of CCTV in external areas for your comfort and security. You agree that you consent to the recording and storage of CCTV footage which may contain images of you and your guests. Footage will only be accessed and reviewed in the event of an incident.
